CAN YOU SEE WHAT I HEAR? is a series of collages created in response to my mother’s journey with dementia. Each piece, inspired by music, is built from fragments of paper—layered, torn, and reassembled—symbolizing the disintegration and reconfiguration of memory. Just as dementia scatters the mind into pieces, I use collage to explore what remains, what is reshaped, and what disappears.
